Biography

Klementyna Suchanow is an activist, writer and a researcher based in Warsaw, Poland. She is one of the co-founders of the Polish Women’s Strike and the International Women’s Strike. She is also an author of “Gombrowicz’s Argentine Travels”; “The Queen of the Caribbean”; and “the Gombrowicz. I, the Genius”. Her last book, “This Is War: Women, Fundamentalists, and the New Middle Ages”, Klementyna traces religious, ultraconservative and ‘traditional value’ networks in Poland and beyond. In 2020, Forbes listed her among 30 women who are changing the world.
