Pitch to An Anthropologist

Ideathon? Solveathon?? Provokathon?! Call it what you want, but in this new pilot pitch/re-pitch format, we will invite representatives from the business and NGO sectors to pitch to the anthropologists attending the event a problem their organizations are facing. Be it product adoption, requirements research, UX woes, or human resource management, they will provoke us as practitioners to help them. Anthropologists participating in the pitch will have 30 mins to work on pitching back how the anthropologists mindset would approach the problems presented, making the case for the value of working with anthropologists..

This format is opened especially to freelancers and small consultancies and is with limited online and onsite participant capacity.  Conference attendees not signed up for the pitching part of the format will be able to watch the provokathon as part of the general program without any additional signing up necessary.

Access: online and onsite

Capacity for participating in the pitch: 10 people onsite and 10 people online. Please sign up additionally via the dedicated form online during checkout at Eventbrite

Capacity for viewing without participating: unlimited onsite and online
