Re/Generation Talks

As per WWNA tradition, top-class speakers present diverse viewpoints and case studies on central problems/questions of the event. 

Each of our invited keynotes will untangle an aspect of the re/generational puzzle in anthropology and with anthropology:

10:30-11:15 – Muzna Al-Masri: “Foregrounding people’s imaginaries: Anthropological research for just energy futures”

11:15-12:00 – Katia Dumont:Anthropology and the re/generation of relationships in creating a flourishing future”

13:00-13:45 – Anders Christian Munk: “From Data Science as Anthropology to Anthropology as Data Science” (must be on Friday afternoon)

13:45-14:30 – David Prendergast: “Ethnography, Technology Design, and the Future of ‘Ageing-in-Place’”

We will then welcome surprise speakers Juan Carmach and Philippe Birker to deliver talks.

A Q&A will follow each presentation.
