Diana Pamela Villa Alvarez holds a MSc. in Service Design and is currently a PhD candidate in Design. In particular, she is investigating the practice of Design in Policy, focusing on prototyping in policymaking, whereby participatory approaches play a significant role.
In her academic career and more than five years of job experience, Pamela has worked in Italy, Germany, The Netherlands and Colombia. Driven by social innovation, she has worked with youth and children, as well as refugees and other marginalized communities. Furthermore, she has led multidisciplinary teams and worked for European projects, the manufacturing industry, design consultancy and education.
