Karen Langvik is a Norwegian anthropologist and recent graduate from the University of Oslo.
Her thesis was on environmentalists in Malaysia and their use of WhatsApp as a way of resisting the regime during the 14th General Election. In 2018, she became the deputy manager of the Journal Betwixt and Between and is an active member of the sustainability organization Fremtiden i Våre Hender. Langvik is currently managing social media for EASA AAN, and is dedicated to communicating why the world needs anthropologists! She is passionate about the environment and the intersection between humans, digitalization and communication
