Biography

Doc. dr. Katarina Polajnar Horvat is a research associate at the Scientific Research Center of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts, at the Anton Melik Institute of Geography, assistant professor at the University of Novi Mesto and at the ZRC Graduate School. In 2015, she published, among other things, the high-profile monograph Environmentally Friendly Behavior, in addition to regularly publishing in international scientific journals with a high impact factor. She actively participated and still participates in several domestic and international scientific research projects. Within these, he deals primarily with environmental protection and sustainable development, environmental psychology and within it with the study of environmental behavior, human geography, the protection and management of natural and cultural heritage, and ethnographic research in various social contexts.
