Lana is a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Social Research in Zagreb.
I received my PhD in Anthropology at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb in 2009, focusing on ethnic identity and the acculturation process among adolescents with a migrant background in Croatia. My main fields of interest include research on cultural change in the contemporary context and interdisciplinary approach to ethnicity, identities and migrations. I decided to join EASA Applied Anthropology Network to create more opportunities for exchanging experiences related to applications of anthropological knowledge and insights. My motivation is to transfer knowledge between anthropologists and isolated local communities.
