Biography
Marek Jakoubek is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Ethnology of Charles University. His research is focused on theories of ethnicity, methodology in social science. He focuses specifically on Romany and Gypsy groups in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and Czech communities in Bulgaria. For his research on Czech communities in Bulgaria, he won the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences Award.
