Biography

Markéta Zandlová is a social anthropologist, assistant professor at the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology of the Faculty of Humanities of Charles University. In 2021 she became the head of the Czech Association for Social Anthropology. She is currently focusing on the social aspects of climate change – she is the main researcher in the multidisciplinary project Stories of Drought: Local implications of extreme climate phenomena, their perception, and actors‘ will to participate.
