Biography

Mina P. Baginova is a social anthropologist and a social movements researcher currently working on contemporary feminist mobilizations in East Central Europe and their transnational networks at FATIGUE (Horizon 2020) project under the umbrella of University College London (UCL). Her previous research includes work across Latin America, as well as in Greece and Turkey, on projects related to citizenship, migration, urban scapes and solidarity practices.

Mina is particularly focused in bridging ethnography with activism and is a passionate advocate for engaged anthropology. She is equally interested in advancing the potential of applied anthropology research in industries, private, and public sectors.
