Biography

Mina P. Baginova is a social anthropologist and a social movements researcher currently working on contemporary feminist mobilizations rising against the far-right politics in East Central Europe at FATIGUE (Horizon 2020) project under the umbrella of University College London (UCL). She is equally interested in transnational feminist movements across the globe. Her previous social movements research includes work across Latin America, as well as in Greece and Turkey.

Mina is particularly interested in bridging scholarly work with activism and is a passionate advocate for engaged anthropology. Flirting with applied anthropology has brought her to an experimental work as a UX researcher.
