Biography
Born on Djerba, an island off the coast of southern Tunisia, Rafram Chaddad is a visual artist whose photographs, films, and multimedia installations rethink the archives and narratives of migration. In 2010, while on a photography research to Libya, Rafram was kidnapped by the secret police in Tripoli and spent six months in solitary confinement in prison Abu Salim. A book about this story will be published soon.
