Biography

Ajda Pretnar is a PhD student of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Ljubljana and a researcher at the Laboratory for Bioinformatics, Faculty of Computer and Information Science. Her research focuses on applying data mining and machine learning methods to anthropological problems – how to find interesting behavioural patterns in sensor data or how to automatically define the type of the hayrack.

Apart from being a researcher, Ajda is also an avid player of curling and a big supporter of the curling stone emoji.
