Thomas Lindgren

Thomas is an industrial PhD researcher at Volvo Cars and Halmstad University. He has a MSc. in Interaction Engineering from Lulea University of Technology and has a long background in Human-Machine Interaction and User Experience Research & Development within the automotive industry since 1999.

His PhD research is about anticipatory user experiences of emerging technologies and has during the three last years been conducting ethnographic research at on-line communities and also following families at home and their car-commutes to understand how expectations and experiences of autonomous automotive technologies integrate into people’s everyday life.
